You may have seen the Peanuts cartoon with Lucy saying to Charlie Brown, “I hate everything. I hate everybody. I hate the whole wide world!” Charlie says, “But I thought you had inner peace.” Lucy replies, “I do have inner peace. But I still have outer obnoxiousness.”

Sermon from December 27, 2009 – What if There Were No Christmas Carols?

Scripture Reading: Colossians 3:12-17

If we were to play Family Feud and I were to ask you for a list of favorite things in the Christmas season somewhere at the top of the list would be Christmas Carols.  For sure, it is near the top of my list.  Every year, I look forward to the Sunday I can insert the first Christmas carols into the order of worship.
